Birmingham School of Sewing teaches a wide variety of sewing related- dressmaking, corsetry, pattern drafting and craft workshops and short courses to anyone passionate about sewing, at the same time providing a skill for life and giving you the confidence to transform your sewing ability from a sewing novice into a sewing expert. If you would like to refresh your skills, take your hobby to the next level or even start your own business – we can help you on your way.

For anyone who is passionate about sewing, our Sewing, Knitting and Crochet Café is open Sundays from 12-3pm. No need to book, simply email or call 079200 31744 to confirm your attendance and then pop in with your sewing project and enjoy sewing in the company of like-minded enthusiasts. Only £5 per hour

Textiles Teachers and Newly Qualified Textiles Teacher Workshops

Are you looking for a workshop specifically designed for NQT’s and practicing textile teachers. Maybe you are an Art Teacher who has been asked to teach textiles. Look no further. At the Birmingham School of Sewing we offer practical workshops specially designed for you taught by a qualified Textile Teacher. Our monthly networking event Networking for Self Employed Women encourages businesswomen to build relationships with other self-employed women, to inspire, encourage and create mutually beneficial business opportunities. The next meeting is Wednesday 28th March at Birmingham School of Sewing, 960 Bristol Road South, Northfield, Birmingham B31 2PE (last Wednesday of every month).
